Our 360-degree virtual tours let you explore all 45 apartment floor plans, including 14 penthouse layouts and 10 for private residences, and amenity spaces including the sauna before you ever step inside the building.

Once you choose your preferred apartment home at One University Circle, you will complete the online application, submit the application fee and holding deposit, and provide any required documentation. Applications are reviewed for income, credit, rental history, and public criminal records. If an applicant does not meet eligibility requirements, the holding fee is refunded.

Most applications are processed within 1 to 3 business days once all required documents have been received. Timing depends on verification needs, whether an applicant's background screening is in-state or out-of-state, and how quickly supporting information is submitted. Applicants relocating to Cleveland from another state should plan for the longer end of that window.

One University Circle offers lease terms ranging from 6 to 24 months. Contact the leasing office or submit an inquiry online for current lease term options, including the leasing arrangements available to incoming medical residents and fellows.

Yes. If your preferred apartment layout is not currently available, you can join the priority waitlist by submitting an online application, a $100 application fee per person, and a $300 priority reservation deposit. The leasing team will contact you as soon as a matching home opens up.

Reserving early is encouraged. If you are awaiting placement at Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, or another nearby medical program, you can select and reserve your apartment before Match Day results are announced in mid-March, and the leasing team will hold that home with no obligation until your placement is confirmed. Ask about the Reserve for Match Day option and preferred employer benefits when you reach out.

Greater Circle Living is an employer-assisted housing program that encourages employees of Greater University Circle institutions to live close to where they work, and One University Circle is a participating community. Qualifying employees receive rental assistance or rebate benefits under the program's requirements, which pairs well with our Preferred Employer Program benefits. Bring your employer information to the leasing team and they will confirm your eligibility and walk you through the enrollment steps alongside your application.

Utilities are not included in the monthly rent. However, One University Circle coordinates utility setup for residents before move-in. Utility usage is individually metered by apartment home, and residents are billed based on their actual usage. Utility charges are conveniently paid directly to the community along with monthly rent.

Security deposit amounts range from $550 to one month's rent based on screening results. Eligible employees of participating Preferred Employer institutions may receive reduced security deposits depending on screening results. Contact the leasing office for the deposit requirements specific to your application.

A $100 non-refundable application fee is required per person to process your application, and eligible employees of participating Preferred Employer institutions receive 50% off that fee. A $300 holding deposit is also held until your application is approved, at which point it is applied to your move-in costs. Should an applicant not meet the eligibility requirements, the holding fee is refunded. Additional fees and deposits vary based on credit screening results. Yes, renters insurance is required for all residents at One University Circle with a minimum liability coverage of $100,000. Contact the leasing office for policy requirements and available options.

There are several! The Preferred Employer Program provides reduced application fees, reduced security deposits, and priority access to available floor plans for eligible staff, faculty, residents, fellows, and employees at participating institutions, including Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, Case Western Reserve University, University Circle Inc., the Cleveland Museum of Art, and the Cleveland Orchestra, along with a long list of other regional employers. One University Circle also participates in Greater Circle Living, an employer-assisted housing program that provides rental assistance or rebate benefits to qualifying employees of Greater University Circle institutions and offers a Military Rewards Program. Verify your employer's participation with the leasing team using your work email or ID.

A non-refundable pet fee of $300 is due at move-in, and monthly pet rent is $40 per pet. Contact the leasing office for the full pet addendum details.

Yes. Pets are limited to 75 pounds, and breed restrictions apply. Share your pet's breed and weight with the leasing team early in the process so eligibility is confirmed before you apply.

Pet-friendly living is built into our community rather than added on. Residents have access to an on-site pet washing station for grooming, a dedicated ground-level dog run for exercise and play, and dog walking services. Wade Park Lagoon, Wade Oval, and the surrounding University Circle green spaces add plenty of walking routes just outside the door.

Yes, every residence includes an in-home Bosch washer and dryer, so laundry stays private and there is no shared laundry room to work around.

Bathrooms are spa-inspired throughout. Every apartment home includes a shower and tub combination with a rainfall showerhead, and in two- and three-bedroom layouts the second bathroom features a walk-in shower. Walk-in closets handle wardrobe storage in the bedrooms, and kitchen pantry space covers the overflow. Since layouts here average about 200 square feet larger than the typical Cleveland apartment, that extra room shows up in the storage as much as in the living space.

Interiors are designed around light and perspective. Ceilings rise 11 to 13 feet, floor-to-ceiling windows with roller shades frame the city, hardwood flooring runs through the living areas, and bedrooms are carpeted. Select homes look out across University Circle and Downtown Cleveland, while others capture Lake Erie and Wade Lagoon.

Most residences are leased unfurnished, and the leasing team can also connect you with third-party furnishing providers if you prefer to furnish a long-term home on a short timeline.

HealthLine BRT service runs along Euclid Avenue right near the property, the RTA Red Line is accessible from Cedar-University Station, and CircleLink shuttle routes connect key University Circle destinations throughout the district.

Downtown Cleveland sits roughly five miles west, about a 15-minute drive depending on traffic. Getting there without a car is just as easy, with a bus stop directly in front of our community and HealthLine BRT service running along Euclid Avenue toward Public Square. The Red Line from Cedar-University Station reaches downtown as well. Drivers pick up I-90 in roughly 10 minutes by way of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive or Chester Avenue, and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport is about 30 minutes southwest.
